Logistics Coordinator

We are organizing a new role with ourselves for a Logistics Coordinator. You’ll be organizing the shipping and transitions of our equipment to the site and ensuring proper receival of goods. Oversized equipment just means aa lot more fun in the day.

**Basic Job Requirements**
- What does your day look like?
- Working with different disciplines within the project (i.e. expediting, procurement, material management, quality and engineering) to ensure delivery of correct items on time
- Managing the freight forwarder (documents required for transport bookings, double checking vessel and airline bookings online).
- Utilising the correct different shipping methods (RoRo, Break Bulk, containerised, etc.) for each piece of equipment.
- Executing projects in Aus dealing with Australian Quarantine & Biosecurity requirements.
- Shipping fabricated steel and oversize modules is a usual thing.

**Other Job Requirements**
- About You:

- Previous Experience in a coordinator role for major contracts
- Ability to communicate effectively across different disciplines.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc
- Previous experience in mining/ construction contracts.
- Strong commitment to team safety.
- Career aspirations to work on interesting and challenging projects.
- Experience with the Logistics module in MatMan.
- Good understanding on how to read general arrangement, lifting drawings and material safety data sheets.
