OSOS Alliance continue to grow, and we are currently seeking an Indigenous Engagement Coordinator/Advisor to join the team as we continue to make a difference in assisting new and existing clients in developing, planning and implementation of initiatives, projects, and outcomes towards supporting Indigenous Engagement Strategies. This role will be responsible for developing and supporting Indigenous engagement priorities across a breadth of industries with a diverse group of clients and industries.

The successful applicant will be supported by our GM of Inclusion and Social Performance, the rest of the group of Directors during their initial transition into the role with the view to be successfully implemented into achieving meaningful results for the business and our stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design company policies that reinforce diversity in the workplace,
- Training managers on how to select, manage, evaluate, and retain diverse employees across their business units
- Assist in cultural change projects
- Advise on agreement commitments while delivering Indigenous engagement activities, systems, and programs
- Support the management team in the Indigenous engagement space
- Coordinate community led initiatives
- Work with Traditional Owner groups

**Requirements and skills**
- Work experience in a similar role within the Indigenous Engagement space
- Leadership experience with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing company policies
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
- Participation in seminars about diversity in the workplace is a plus
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
