Staff-Net is seeking experienced Mechanical Trades Assistants for several clients based South of River in the following suburbs.

- **The Work**

The work as a Mech TA will vary depending on our client, where the work covers;
- **Explosive Trucks - Repair & Overhaul**:

- **Crushing & Screening Equipment - New Build & Overhaul**

**Explosive Trucks -** **Repair & Overhaul - Bibra Lake**

This is a mix of Automotive and Fixed Plant where our client repairs and overhauls explosive trucks used in the mining industry. The work can cover Truck chassis components such as suspension, brakes, gearboxes, axels, wheel ends and some diesel engine work.

The fixed plant components are predominately Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Electrical systems which can cover hydraulic & pneumatic hose replacements, pipe spools, valves, hoppers, augers, compressors and pumps.

The working hours are flexible between 9 to 12 hour days where if you perform your duties to a high standard, have a positive attitude and strong work ethic the work responsibilities may progress to site work as well as permanent employment.

**Crushing & Screening Equipment - New Build & Overhaul - Henderson**

Working alongside Mechanical Fitters you maybe working on new builds which is mainly assembly work in fitting small and large crushing and screening components such as conveyors belts, screens, hydraulic hoses, motors and crushers.

If assigned to repair and overhaul, you will be working across jobs big and small from simple change outs of hydraulic hoses and hydraulic manifolds through to removing and replacing crushers, diesel engines, conveyors and screens.

Your attitude and work ethic will be a focus where we are seeking Mech TA’s that have a positive attitude, possess initiative and can work well in teams.
- **TA Mechanical - Automotive / Trucks / Mobile Plant**:

- **TA Mechanical - Fixed Plant - Ore Processing / Pumps**:

- **TA - Industrial Plumbing (Fixed Plant)**:

- **Process or Plant Technicians**:

- **Partially completed a Mechanical related apprenticeship in Automotive or Fixed Plant**:

- **High Risk - Fork Lift Licence**:

- **Experience in lifting heavy loads on fork lifts**:

- **Dogging or Rigging heavy loads for Overhead Cranes**:

- **Operating Overhead Cranes**

All our clients will seriously look at Temp to Perm scenarios where if you perform your duties to a high standard, have a positive attitude and strong work ethic you may be signed onto our clients books as a Perm Employee.

Durations will vary depending on the client where the work will range from 3 month to ongoing.

**Remuneration**

Depending on our client the pay rate will be between;
- **$30.00 to $36.00 per hour (Flat Rate)**:

- **+ Super On All Hours Worked**

**Job Types**: Casual, Permanent, Temp to perm

**Salary**: Up to $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Henderson, WA 6166: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Mechanic: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
