**The role**:
The role of IoT Technical Support sits within the broader Iota Group within South East Water and is part of a dynamic team, delivering and supporting exciting new products transforming the water industry

This role will support innovation and the processes required to deliver Iota customer and product outcomes. These outcomes may be level one technical support for Iota customers, diagnosing failed products and product warranty repair, testing or prototyping monitoring/control devices, water and wastewater technologies and/or systems and services supporting the water industry and goals of Iota.

The key accountabilities for the role will include the following:

- Level One Technical Support for OneBox and Footprint customers
- OneBox diagnostics and hardware repair.
- Manufacture test jig management.
- Footprint 3.0 development testing and technical support.
- Support product development and testing.
- Recommend improvements to the test product or systems based on learnings.
- Recommend further testing if required.

**Who are you?**:
In order to be considered for this role, applicants will require a post-secondary Diploma, Certificate III in Electronics or Associates degree or 1 year of experience working as a hardware technician, building and testing electronic products and prototypes.

The following skills, knowledge and experience will also be required:

- Written communication - ability to assist in preparing quality technical designs, specifications, user documentation, technical reports etc.
- Verbal communication - ability to present and discuss technical information to technical and business audiences; ability to exchange information, inform and influence others and gain their cooperation
- Problem solving - ability to exercise professional judgement in recognising and solving problems relying on experience/policies/procedures; expanding, and adapting those policies and procedures if required
- Teamwork and documentation - participate in projects as an active team member; utilize Atlassian products such as Confluence, Jira and X-ray for documenting findings
- Technical - undertake complex technical work, design and build prototypes (hardware and software), plan and carry out trials under professional supervision
- Computer skills - ability to undertake work using computer systems including data entry, advanced spreadsheets/word processing.
- Programming skills in C, C++ and python is beneficial.
- Research - research/investigate sensor technologies by reviewing product specification sheets and recommend sensors that meet stakeholder requirements.

This role is remunerated at a Level 2, which ranges from $82,036 to $$89,646 + super.
