Leads the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Team at Geelong Refinery. Responsible for the planning and scheduling of all preventative and corrective plant maintenance, tank maintenance, asset integrity programs and interventions at Geelong Refinery, Lara LPG Terminal and the Jetty (approx $80M p.a.)
- Leads a team of 10-15 planners and schedulers responsible for the planning, prioritisation and scheduling of all preventative and corrective plant maintenance, tank maintenance, asset integrity programs and interventions at Geelong Refinery, Lara LPG Terminal and the Jetty.
- Responsible for the planning and scheduling of $80m p.a. of maintenance work executed by a team of 150-200 Viva and contractor personnel.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the health of the Maintenance Execution Process through analysis of various KPIs.
- Responsible for continuous improvement of the maintenance execution process with a particular focus on the planning and scheduling function. Coaches and influences stakeholders across the business (e.g. maintenance, asset, operations etc) to deliver improvements in safety, compliance, productivity and cost.
- Development, training and succession planning for the Planning and Scheduling Team personnel.
- Works with stakeholders across the Maintenance, Turnaround, Project, Asset and Operations Teams to optimise the allocation of maintenance / project resources to ensure the refinery continues to deliver the highest priority work.
- Drives compliance with the Maintenance Execution Process to ensure that maintenance work is planned, scheduled and executed safely and efficiently.
- Focal point and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all computer maintenance management systems (CMMS) and scheduling systems (e.g. Primavera P6) used at Geelong Refinery.
- Ensures that all maintenance and construction work is executed in accordance with company and statutory HSSEQ requirements.
- Where assigned or nominated you’ll be responsible for incident response, investigation and management including Asset and Safety incidents.
- Responsible for resourcing the team with appropriately experienced and qualified team members.
- Leads the Planning & Scheduling Team in a manner that is consistent with the Viva Energy Values.

**Qualifications**
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all computer maintenance management systems (CMMS) and scheduling systems (e.g. Primavera P6)
- Technical knowledge of maintenance and projects requirements in a major hazard facility.
- Skills, knowledge and experience in managing and delivering a complex change program.
- Demonstrated project management experience and track record in delivery that is on-time, within budget and meets quality standards.
- Clear and engaging written and verbal communication skills.
- Substantial experience in technical and people safety.
- Systems improvement to enable agile ways of working.
- Advanced skills in performance reporting that enables past performance metrics to be used for effective decision making in risk mitigation and business improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilise all available communication channels to ensure that the team is kept up to date and engaged.
- Experience in leading a professional team in all aspects of the team member lifecycle with high percentage blue collar, allocating resources and managing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to positively influence a diverse stakeholder group including senior stakeholders, individual contributors, suppliers and customers.
- Proven success is cross-functional collaboration and joint stewardship and change projects and the delivery of operational excellence.
