**About Monash BPT Program**
The Monash Health Basic Physician Training program offers a first class clinical experience and a supportive learning environment for ~100 FRACP BPT trainees. The program delivers a comprehensive and integrated educational program across the three year BPT training period with a specific focus on FRACP written and clinical exam preparation. In addition Monash Health BPT offers a wide range of professional development and leadership development opportunities.
**About the Role**
This position encompasses clinical, educational and potential research responsibilities. The incumbent will work as part of clinical and educational teams to provide Registrar level clinical care in a busy teaching hospital environment (Monash Clayton). The incumbent will also deliver educational activity to Basic Physician Trainees (BPT) and assist the BPT Manager with coordination and delivery of the FRACP clinical exam at Clayton and Dandenong. An additional key delivery is the development and maintenance of educational content for the in-house physician education learning platform (website).
**About You**
We are looking for a positive and inspiring clinician with a passion for medical education and a commitment to clinical excellence to join our dedicated, highly functioning BPT education team. The successful applicant will demonstrate a growth mindset and innovative thinking as well as the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others.
**What you need**:
- A medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) which is recognised for registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Successful completion of the FRACP clinical exam
- Trainee of relevant Medical college
- Motor vehicle driver licence
