**About You**
- You are a passionate and experienced medical leader, ready to contribute to the strategic direction of a major clinical program. With fellowship of a relevant college and registration as a specialist medical practitioner (or equivalent), you bring a wealth of clinical and leadership experience. You are committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research, and thrive in complex, multidisciplinary environments.

**About the Role**
- Monash Health is reimagining the way care is led and delivered. As part of our refreshed organisational structure, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Medical Director to lead the General Medicine Service.

Reporting to the Program Medical Director, this role plays a key part in:

- Provide expert clinical leadership across a diverse portfolio of specialties
- Lead service redesign and innovation to improve access, safety, and sustainability
- Support senior clinicians to deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care
- Champion quality and safety, embedding a culture of continuous improvement
- Champion continuous improvement and medical workforce development
- Strengthen academic and research partnerships
- Continue to provide clinical service in your specialty and contribute to on-call rosters

This is a pivotal leadership role that will shape the future of care delivery across a diverse and impactful portfolio.
