Following the success of our Regional Capability Trainer pilot, we are looking for a **Regional Capability Trainer** to join our **Perth** team. You will provide classroom, workshop hands-on, and technical training for Heavy Vehicle Technician Apprentices and new Technicians. You will develop and implement training courses based on Cummins products, systems, and processes. You will be reporting to the Asia Pacific Training Manager and have a strong dotted line report to the Service Manager at our Perth Branch.

**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**:

- Coach and develop less experienced technicians and apprentices to independently undertake troubleshooting, repairs and rebuilds on Cummins Products.
- Delivery of Diesel Engine Fundamentals and Basic Diagnostic training to all apprentices in the region.
- Participate in monthly Capability Trainer meetings and provide updates on progress against Heavy Vehicle Mechanical milestone training plan for the apprentices in your branch/region.
- Provide stakeholder updates and regularly communicate your training program delivery schedule with Supervisors, Workshop Manager and Service Manager.
- Maintain a focus on apprentice safety by participating in extended pre-start meetings to ensure their understanding of workplace hazards and risk.
- Participate in the annual Apprentice Onboarding Program.

**To be successful in this role you will need the following**:

- Advanced level knowledge of and experience with Cummins engine products is essential.
- Previous experience providing technical advice and coaching to apprentices/technicians (preferred).
- Possess or be willing to work towards achievement of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Minimum 4 years post trade apprenticeship completion preferred.
