**THE ROLE**

This part-time role is 25 hours per week and is fixed-term on a 6-month contract with a view to extend. As an Accounts Receivable/Payable officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the business. You will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, financial transactions, reconciling accounts, collections and ensuring timely payments to our valued vendors.

**Your day-to-day tasks would involve but not limited to**:

- Process a high volume of invoices with precision and attention to detail.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform regular reconciliations of vendor statements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address any payment-related inquiries.
- Generate Client invoices as per department timelines.
- Process Daily banking of Client payments.
- Follow up on outstanding Client receivables.
- Client queries from both internal / external parties are addressed professionally and efficiently.

**To be successful for this role you'll need**:

- Previous experience in accounts receivable/payable or related finance roles.
- Proficiency in using accounting software like Timberline and TimberScan or similar account systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
