Richmond Before and After School Care is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced **childcare educator** to fulfil the role of a part-time employee to join our team, and be allocated the responsibility to be a Responsible Person.

Richmond Before & After School Care is a community based, non-profit organisation and is managed by a volunteer family committee.

Role Requirements:

- Responsible for the day to day management and organisation of the childcare centre

Essential Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years full time experience working with children, preferably in an OOSH environment
- Diploma in Out of School Hours Care or Diploma in Children’s Services
- Current first aid certificate
- Current anaphylaxis and asthma management
- Accredited Child Protection training
- Working With Children’s Check
- Assist with planning and implementing quality programs to meet the developmental needs of children in accordance with “My Time, Our Place’ Framework
- Knowledge and ability to meet Regulations and the National Quality Standards
- Ability to follow service policies and procedures
- The proven ability to communicate with and build strong relationships with children, parents, educators and the community
- Ability to coordinate and manage the day to day operations of the service
- Both a team leader and team player that is enthusiastic, committed, professional and fun
- Punctual, honest, trustworthy and reliable

Desirable:

- Lives in the Hawkesbury region and be available to work split shifts
- Experience in administration including Childcare Central and Microsoft Office software
