**Purpose of Position**

Responsible for the coordination of marketing and communication activities aligning with
Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT’s strategic and business plans. The role supports the
Marketing and Communications team across a wide range of activities and projects.

**Duties and responsibilities**

**Campaign and content coordination**
Support and assist in the coordination of campaigns and promotional activities including
but not limited to booking advertisements, reviewing online advertisements and social
internal communications activities.

**Systems, Documentation and collateral management.**
Maintain a stocktake and asset register of collateral and merchandise and manage
distribution to stakeholders. Ensure content is up to date on the employee intranet and
website. Maintain project documentation, online filing, and product databases.

**Reporting, tracking and analysis**
Coordinate regular reporting and data insights. Perform research and analysis as
required. Support the tracking and measurement of marketing activities to drive
awareness, engagement and conversion with key external and internal audiences.

**Invoice and budget tracking management**
Process and code invoices and track campaign/event spend/ROI.

**Events Coordination and Fundraising Support**
Support the coordination of local or region-based events and activities in the
communities in which we operate. Assist with fundraising activities and correspondence.

**Provide general support to the Marketing & Communications team as required**
including project management and coordination support.

**Broader Responsibilities**

**Teamwork and culture**: This position is required to contribute positively to teamwork to
achieve operational outcomes and promote a positive SCC workplace culture in
alignment with SCC Values, Mission and Vision.
**Stakeholder relationships**: This position is required to liaise and collaborate with all
relevant stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure effective and efficient workflow.
**Work Health and Safety (WHS)**: This position is required to comply with and contribute
to Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Previous experience as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator or similar role
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Advertising or a similar relevant field
- Digitally savvy with strong systems skills
- Attention to detail
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver with a flexible approach
- Up to date COVID-19 vaccinations

**Desirable**
- Experience in Aged Care, Non-for-profit or similar
- Indesign or Adobe Creative Cloud experience

The position is accountable and responsible in ensuring compliance with SCC policies and

procedures, relevant standards, relevant legislation and accepted industry practices.

We’re looking for a switched on, open-to-learning and tech-savvy Marketing and Communication Coordinator with the following attributes:

- Demonstrated prior experience as a Marketing or Communications Coordinator or similar role
- Degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or relevant similar field
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task with strong time management skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills with an agile and flexible approach
- InDesign or Adobe Creative Cloud experience will highly regarded
- Experience working for a not-for-profit, aged care or similar industry will be a bonus
