South East LLS has a fantastic opportunity available to join LLS’s broader Biosecurity team. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about developing, managing and implementing a range of projects to support and improve state-wide service delivery and meet LLS objectives. As part of the team, you'll be responsible for delivering projects, programs and advisory services that align with national, state and regional plans, local plant biosecurity priorities, and key objectives. This role is crucial in safeguarding the NSW economy, environment, and community to meet national and state standards and outcomes, support staff and customers to improve emergency planning, preparedness, response and recovery relating to plant biosecurity threats.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project and Programs Officer, Plant Biosecurity, to join our team and contribute to the protection of our region’s agricultural and environmental assets. This role combines office-based strategic responsibilities with fieldwork, offering a unique opportunity to drive impactful biosecurity initiatives. You will facilitate training, knowledge sharing, and activities that align key plant stakeholders, community groups, and internal staff with identified priority pests, prevention measures, and preparedness protocols, ensuring a coordinated and effective approach.
