We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team at Khukuri Nepali Restaurant, with opportunities available at both our Campsie and Adelaide locations. **Chefs (Hospitality & Tourism)**

**$74000- $ 78000 Per Year plus Super.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook traditional Nepalese dishes, ensuring each dish maintains the authentic flavours and presentation.
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory, staff supervision, and quality control.
- Develop new recipes and menus in collaboration with the restaurant management to continuously improve and diversify our offerings.
- Prepare, cook and serve food in accordance with menus ensuring a high level of quality and presentation is achieved at all times according to agreed standards.
- Coordinate all food purchasing, budgeting and planning operations with other staff members
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Create new menus with restaurant managers.
- Train and supervise new kitchen members

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a chef in Nepalese restaurants/ hotels with a deep understanding of Nepalese cuisine.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for creating innovative, high-quality menu items and providing outstanding customer service
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
