**Overview**
**This is a 7 months Secondment or Fixed term contract role for parental leave cover.**
**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
Strategic Focus
- Completion of all assigned reporting and processing of all assigned operations including processing complex transactions as required, meeting service and quality standards
- Manage business process enhancements and engagement of the team during the implementation process
- Proactively identify improvements that will aim to increase the efficiency and quality standards across the business
- Participate in pre and post system testing as required
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Operational Management
- Communicate any changes to the team and provide appropriate feedback to the Team Leader. Be a change advocate.
People Leadership
- Actively participate as a member of the team and actively contribute to positive team morale in conjunction with the Team Leader
- Provide support to and develop key relationships with other areas of the business as required
- Encourage an environment of openness and information sharing within the team, by actively participating in team meetings and communication processes
- Participate as a positive member of the team by co-operating with others to achieve the team’s goals
Governance & Risk
- Complete the required quality review of the team’s work and provide regular feedback, advice, training and guidance to the team and Team Leader to assist in development of staff, including knowledge sharing and recommending strategies to improve quality when required.
- Manage, investigate and resolve complaints, escalations and complex enquiries, particularly in the absence of the Team Leader
- Interpret policies and fund specific requirements to ensure compliance with all legislative and service standards
- Ensure compliance with all legislative, financial and fund specific procedures to minimise any risk to the business
- Comply with all company policies, values and procedures

- Sound knowledge of technical and compliance issues, understanding relevant policies and legislation.
- Strong understanding of relevant Superannuation and Family Law legislation and industry knowledge
- Sound knowledge of MS Office and other software packages
- RG146 / ASFA qualifications desirable
