Reporting to the National Sales Manager - Trade, your primary responsibility of this exciting role is to lead, develop and mentor both direct and in-direct reports to deliver the trade channel sales budget for the region. You will work closely with the branch network, Regional Manager, and your team to ensure NAPA is the first-choice supplier. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to build a strong, lasting career in sales with an industry leader **As Trade Channel Manager your duties will include (but not be limited to)**: - Manage the channel in line with Napa's Customer Value Proposition, collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to meet the requirements of the strategic business plan. - Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring and performance management of your team, both direct & in-direct reports. - Build strong relationship and engage with our top tier customers. - Develop and deploy the trade channel sales plan for your region. - Attend Sales Meetings, Trade Shows & Product Training as required. **Sounds like you?** To be considered for this opportunity, your history will demonstrate: - You are a true people leader that loves to train, develop and coach high performing teams. - Industry experience is preferred in either of the following sectors, but not essential: - **_ Automotive Electrical_**: - **_ Automotive Air Conditioning_**: - **_ General Mechanical_** - Prior achievement in areas of responsibility, specifically sales results, customer relationship development and territory management. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to negotiate, influence decisions, facilitate outcomes and achieve results. - Sound business acumen and numerical competency. - Proven ability to prioritise workloads and - Outgoing nature with a positive and motivated approach who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment and can work calmly under pressure.
