**PLEASE NOTE: this job is located 1 hour away by public transport and 30-40mins drive from the Melbourne CBD*. Japan Foods Trading Pty. Ltd. is one of the oldest and largest Japanese food importers and distributors in Victoria, located in Rowville.

Your main role is Forklift Operator and picking and packing Japanese foodstuffs. Please note that there is heavy lifting of items (up to 25kg) required in this role.

**Your role**
- Forklift Operator
- Pick and pack foodstuffs
- Palletize goods and arrange a pick-up and delivery to customers communicating with logistics companies
- Monitor stock levels and fill up shelves in a timely manner
- Help delivery drivers organize deliveries and load vans
- Any other duties related to warehouse operations

**Selection Criteria**
- Must have Vailed Australian Forklift Operator License
- A basic and good understanding of Japanese food products or a willingness to learn
- Must be a team player with exceptional communication skills
- Proven time management skills to priorities and finish tasks in time
- A positive, “can-do” attitude
- Able to understand Japanese (preferred)
- Reliable
- Must hold a Permanent Resident visa or Citizenship
- Must be able to commute to Rowville, located about 1 hour by public transport or 30-40 minutes by car from Melbourne CBD

**Essential Skills**
- Heavy lifting over 25kg
- PR Visa or Australian Citizenship
- Vaild Australian Forklift Operator License
