**About the role**
Australian Retirement Trust (ART) are seeking a visionary leader with a passion for technology strategy and governance to join us as **General Manager Technology Strategy and Governance** on a permanent basis. In this critical role, you will be responsible for shaping our technology strategy, managing technology risk, and overseeing technology planning and budgeting. You will deliver ART's strategic outcomes by creating a balanced and consistent view across risk, strategy, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring that our technology decisions are aligned with our strategic objectives and contribute to achieving desired outcomes.

**About you**
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you’ll tick some of the following boxes too:

- Extensive experience operating at the level of enterprise leadership and influence with executive customers and stakeholders
- Extensive technology strategy, risk and governance experience in a “Tier 1” highly regulated financial services environment
- Demonstrated deeply developed, practical experience in the design and implementation of strategic initiatives to deliver strategic business outcomes with technology
- Highly developed written and verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship skills to work collaboratively as part of a leadership team and influence a diverse range of senior and executive stakeholders
- A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance frameworks for superannuation in Australia
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of contemporary technology related technology governance and risk management frameworks and methodologies.
