Your Role

As the Finance Officer, you will:
Assist in providing taxation advice to state schools and corporate business areas.
Utilise your tax expertise to prepare annual FBT return and assist with periodic GST taxation compliance reviews.
Additionally, you will undertake research to adequately respond to new public sector financial management and budgetary initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate your knowledge of accounting concepts and strategies, and taxation legislative requirements.

Expertise in the use and development of medium/advanced Microsoft Excel skills, transactional data analysis and reconciliations to identify taxation non-compliance to tax code and procedural requirement.
