**About the Opportunity**
Manager - Governance & Compliance

In conjunction with the Senior Manager - Compliance and Governance the role will also hold direct management responsibility for the Privacy & Ringfencing Officer and the Document Compliance Specialist.

Duties & Responsibilities

Working with the functional lead the following is required:

- Facilitate the effective implementation of the Compliance Management System and Controlled Documents to help ensure the company is compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the response to proposed legislation changes and help ensure the organisation is prepared for changes that will be enacted.
- Develop strategies to continuously refine and mature the Compliance Management System and Controlled Document Management System.
- Facilitate the enhancement and ongoing management of the organisation’s business continuity and crisis management program, including supporting the Executive level crisis management simulations.
- Embed business continuity management activities within the Business Groups, including development of guidance and training materials, and delivery to Executive and staff.
- Prepare reporting associated with compliance for Board and regulatory purposes.
- Manage the coordination and modification of documents related to records management, controlled documents, privacy and other governance activities as required.
- Liaise and provide appropriate communication to positively influence senior management, internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and performance of direct reports (in conjunction with the Senior Manager - Governance and Compliance).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be directed by your manager, in line with the Work Level Standards for this role.
