**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a **Plastic Extrusion Line Operator **for our client, for an immediate start (temp to perm opportunity), located in **Drouin, VIC.**

**Hours**

Monday to Thursday : 6:00AM to 6:00PM plus overtime as required.

Night shifts available ( Night shifts will require a period of Day shifts worked first)

**Duties**:

- You will be responsible for efficiently running multiple extrusion lines simultaneously (including Plasslab, Plasdrain and Plaspole)
- You will also be responsible for all functions of operating the machines safely and effectively, from managing feedstock, adhering to SOPs, safety requirements, performing maintenance, tool changeovers, stacking finished products in designated bays etc,
- Ensure all scheduled maintenance is carried out in a timely manner
- **Be able to lift 20kg** packs safely and stack onto pallets, while adhering to safe practices
- Manually roll Plasdrain pipes along stack safely.
- Innovate, improve manufacturing capabilities and efficiencies to enable the success of the business.
- Meet and exceed key performance indicators including, safety targets and productivity targets.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Have knowledge and experience in plastics manufacturing (desired, not essential)
- Have basic knowledge of MS office Suite
- Work to a high standard to maintain productivity
- A willing and proactive attitude towards safety
- Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team when required
- Must be able to follow guidelines and safe work practices
- Excellent communication; able to follow instructions
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- **MUST have Full working Rights in Australia**:

- **Own safety boots, long sleeve hi-vis shirts, and long pants**
