**Our Clinical Services team are looking for a motivated Allied Health Assistant** **to join their vibrant and ever-growing** **THRIVE Services**. **The focus of THRIVE Services is to help clients gain choice, control and self-determination through improved physical and mental well-being delivered via a tailored program overseen by experienced therapists.

**Essential Job Functions include**:

- Supporting clients to reach their individuals goals through development of social skills and community engagement.
- Facilitate group programs to assist participants with engagement in activities.
- Respect and understanding of confidentiality when engaging with clients and relevant sensitive information.
- Support the Allied Health Professionals to carryout assessment, interpret findings, plan, and implement intervention in collaboration with clients, support workers and other health professionals.
- Support the Allied Health Professionals to provide treatment inclusive of hydrotherapy treatment.
- Support the Allied Health Professionals in undertaking comprehensive discharge planning in conjunction with other team members.
- Role model behaviours that contribute to a constructive workplace culture; inspire motivate and foster a high-performing environment
- Inspire and champion change, challenge the status quo and set the example for achieving high performance outcomes
- All employees are responsible and accountable for keeping accurate, legible, and complete records of their activities.
- Participation in departmental meetings.
- Participating in quality improvement activities, research, and performance enhancement.

You will also be required to proactively provide information regarding change in client circumstances to relevant parties and ensure clear communication is provided to team members to ensure consistency of care is maintained.

**Minimum Experience and Education**:

- Certificate IV or Diploma Allied Health Assisting (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Community Rehabilitation)
- Experience in adult disability preferably brain and spinal injury knowledge
- Equivalent of one-year full time experience
