About the Role:

This is an opportunity to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Occupational Therapist within our Northern Community Mental Health service.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, providing specialist occupational therapy services to adults with complex mental health conditions, supporting their recovery and community participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans in community settings
  • deliver evidence-based interventions to improve functional capacity and quality of life
  • provide clinical supervision and mentorship to less experienced staff
  • collaborate with consumers, families and community services to ensure holistic care
  • contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
