Centenary Childcare & Early Education Centre is a Centre rated with an **EXCEEDING Rating** that is a family-owned service who appreciates their staff for the amazing job that they do. **We are located in Mt Ommaney which is in the Western suburbs of Brisbane**.

We are looking for a dedicated and professional Assistant Educator who are motivated**, **passionate & enthusiastic about children. Childcare is a very rewarding occupation, but it requires a certain degree of commitment, so you will need to have an excellent work ethic, an organised nature and know how to have fun. **Details of the positions**:

- **POSITION 1: Assistant Educator in 2-3-year-old room** - This is a full-time permanent position (37.5hrs per week), working in our Toddler room (2-3-year-olds). This room caters for up to 15 toddlers with a team of 3 staff. You will need to have a Certificate 3 or very close to be finishing it and you will need to show experience with this age group.
- **POSITION 2**:HERO/float Role** - This is a full-time permanent role covering our staff so they can go on leave. Prefer Certificate 3 qualified or studying towards it.
- **POSITION 3**:Schoolies Educator** - This is a full-time permanent role in our Schoolies room (30 children). You will be required to drive our 10-seater bus (regular open license needed and prefer over 25-years olds for insurance). During the day you will cover in our pre-toddler's room and offer some programming time in various age groups. This role has two shifts 8-4.30 and 10-6.30. Prefer Diploma qualified or studying towards it.

**Requirements**:

- All applicants MUST hold a current blue-card.
- Certificate 3 or higher is preferred.

**Please note** _a 6-month probationary period will apply. the successful applicant will be required to obtain a "suitability card" if they do not already have one. This will be renewed by the Centre after a min of 12 months of employment with the Centre._

Pay: $26.76 - $35.99 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
