We are looking for an enthusiastic Lead Educator (18 months to 2.5 years group) and Assistant Educator (Diploma) to join our client in their almost brand-new 85-place early learning service in Mount Waverley.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Diploma qualified Educator who has some leadership experience or displays leadership traits. You will lead a room of 12-16 children, all who are between 18 n lead our 18 months - 2.5 years room, and an additional assistant to ensure we remain over-ratio. You will work alongside other Educators who are passionate, friendly and engaging.

Our client's philosophy is promoting childs interest through play-based learning. The service's Reggio-inspired curriculum integrates elements of literacy, numeracy, science, music, social awareness, emotional intelligence and language development into a typical week. There is also access to a weekly visit from an Artist for creative art experiences and a qualified sports coach for an opportunity to work on motor skills.

Responsibilities include:

- Inspiring, Leading and motivating a group of passionate Educators
- Making children laugh while learning
- Create a stimulating, positive and fun environment for the children
- Ensure learning and development are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
- Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors
- Writing observations and analysing children's progression and development
- Develop strong relationships with children and effectively communicate with parents and carers.

What we are looking for:

- Hold a minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience as a room leader or have strong leadership qualities
- Use your amazing coaching techniques to help develop reflective practices
- Identify areas of improvement and support educators in their planning
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS

**Salary**: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
