Join our team to provide compassionate, client-centred social work services that make a difference You’ll deliver psychosocial assessments, counselling, advocacy, and support for patients, clients, and their families, ensuring optimal health outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to seamless care across diverse settings. This role offers opportunities for professional development, student mentoring, and a chance to work within a culturally respectful and inclusive framework.

We are seeking an applicant who can provide 16 hours of coverage at Wollongong and 4 hours at Shoalhaven, ensuring continuity of care for patients and seamless collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The role requires availability to work Wednesdays in Wollongong (for case conferences) and Fridays in Shoalhaven.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
