As the Solution Designer at the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA), you will be responsible for the technical delivery of solutions in the Core Mod Infrastructure program. This role is a 2 year fixed term contract based at Bella Vista. You will design, implement and migrate infrastructure management and monitoring solutions that are in the current infrastructure environment into the new target infrastructure environment. You key objectives will include:
- Discovery, analysis, design and migration or extension of multiple infrastructure management and monitoring solutions from the current infrastructure to the new infrastructure environment.- Document the designs, implementation and verifications of works undertaken.- Provide knowledge transfer sessions and documentation to BAU support staff.- Contribute to the designs and implementation works of the target network and server environment to assist with the success of the Core Mod program.- Manage internal stakeholders and system owners to ensure alignment of direction and delivery.- Engage with vendors and partners supporting the delivery.- Communicate effectively with the project team and providing timely updates.

Skills required:
- Extensive knowledge in core infrastructure services such as AD, DNS and NTP.- Extensive experience and understanding in networks and Cisco ACI technologies.- Experience and understanding in VMware vSphere and associated ecosystem.- Experience in the management in Windows Servers and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.- Experience in the design and implementation of monitoring solutions.- Experience in project delivery, and familiarity with project delivery methodologies.- Familiarity with ITIL and associated change management processes.
