The role The Principal Data Analyst will analyse, manipulate and present key operational data for the Division. The role will inspect, cleanse, transform and analyse data to discover information, inform conclusions and support effective decision making for the organisation. The role will also query missing, incomplete or inconsistent data using analysis software and utilise visualisation tools to provide key operational insights for the Deputy Director-General and Divisional Leadership Team. The Principal Data Analyst will create a wide range of visual reports and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver business insights.
The successful personYou will have demonstrated high level knowledge and experience in statistical methods with demonostrated ability to appropriately use statistical procedures and interpret statistical information. You will also have experience in programming, data manipulation and high level analytical ability. Your high level interperstonal and communication skills are required to effectively liaise and negotiate with key internal and external stakeholders.
