**Position Summary**:
The Participant Liaison Officer acts as the main point of contact between NWDS and participants, ensuring that the services provided meet the participants' goals and needs. This role involves fostering strong relationships with participants, their families, and carers, and coordinating services to support their overall well-being and development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Decision Support: Guide participants in making informed choices about their care and services.
- Service Coordination: Coordinate with relevant internal and external service providers to ensure seamless support for participants.
- Financial Assistance: Prepare and execute service agreements and budgets of supports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with participants' available funding in NDIS Plan.
- Satisfaction Monitoring: Conduct biannual reviews to track service satisfaction and progress towards goals.
- Plan Management: Understand and interpret participant plans, identifying gaps and opportunities for additional support.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Attend events and expos to represent the organisation and promote its services. Build and maintain relationships with community organisations, stakeholders, and funding bodies. Establish and maintain strong relationships with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and other relevant funding bodies. 

**Qualifications, Skills, and Experience**:

- Strong negotiating and relationship management skills
- Background in sales, account management, or a related field
- Experience or knowledge of the disability sector is highly desirable
- Extensive understanding of relevant systems and processes, such as the NDIS
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for the sector
- Ability to interpret NDIS plans and build rapport with all stakeholders
- Driver’s License (P2 or higher), Current NSW Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Current Police Check.
