Your roleAs a Risk Officer, you support the delivery of insurable risk advice to our Victorian Public Sector clients, so that they're not unconsciously uninsured.You'll ensure that clients have optimal risk transfer arrangements and are actively working towards reducing their insurable risk exposure.You'll be a member of the Insurable Risk Advisory team, reporting to the Manager, Insurable Risk Advisory in the Risk Services Division.This is an excellent opportunity to work in a diverse role where you will be the go-to person for our insurable risk advisory team providing support with administration, client service delivery, reporting, continuous improvement projects and many more What you are here to doThis is a role with a diverse set of responsibilities that are likely to evolve over time. Your key responsibilities are to:

- Support the development of trusted relationships through empathy and support the delivery of strategic advisory services to clients.
- Provide relationship management support across all our client segments and contribute to account management and client service planning processes.
- Provide transactional insurance services to support the ongoing maintenance of cover for clients - including enquiries, renewal, ministerial directions, machinery of government changes, new policies, endorsements, debt management and general support services.
- Support the delivery of an end-to-end insurable risk advisory service, from needs analysis to insurance placement - helping our clients reduce the likelihood and consequences of insurable events.
- Adhere to a quality assurance process for insurable risk services.
- Actively monitor client feedback via formal and informal channels, and continually improve services.
- Be a shared support for insurable risk services across all client segments.

Who you work withYou work with your team to support and provide client relationship management across all our client segments. You also work closely with our Statewide Risk Advisory, Claims Reduction Advisory, Insurance and Claims functions to ensure the best possible client experience. About you
- You have demonstrated administration and coordination experience in a similar role with a strong ability to build client relationships and ensure a positive service delivery.
- Some knowledge and understanding of insurance services and products with a risk management mindset is highly preferred.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.
- You have research, analysis, and reporting skills.
- You are solution-oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- You have excellent time management and organisational skills with strong ability to multi-task.
- Initiative to respond to challenges and achieve deadlines in a complex and changing environment.
