Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. As a trusted partner to the WA resource sector, Calibre is integrated in our Client’s Major Projects which enables up to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.
**The Role**:
Based in our Perth Office, you will work across our mining sustaining capital portfolio providing a range of planning and scheduling support throughout the project lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects including Roads, Rail, Ports, Energy and Water across the Mining and Resources sector. Your day to day will include;
- Create, maintain, and report on project schedules utilising P6 and MS Project
- Participate in internal, external and contract discussions regarding activity, scheduling and prioritisation
- Assist in the analysis of information and producing related reports, proposals and other documents
- Maintain and develop Construction schedules in line with the contract requirements
- Develop performance metrics for projects and project managers

This position can be tailored for a mid-level Planner or a Senior Planner looking to work on mid-large sized brownfields upgrade projects.
- 3+ years experience in Planning/Scheduling - either in a dedicated Planning role, or familiarity with Planning and P6 software from a Project Engineering role
- Proficient with Primavera P6 & MS Project
- Exposure to mining construction projects, building schedules, progress reports and updates
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and act decisively
- Strong data analysis skills
