
Compliance Team Leader

**About the role**:
Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and support flexible working arrangements.
**Your duties will include**:
- Supervise compliance officer staff within the registry ensuring service delivery and standards are met
- Prepare high quality written reports and briefing papers which interpret data or intelligence, and provide results and recommendations through a continuous improvement lens
- Ensure processes and procedures are compliant with relevant regulations, policies and procedures and confidently provide advice or recommendations for remedial action when required
- Validate offender files and information via interrogation of information and data, to proactively identify breaches of the act or risk
- Actively engage with regional investigators to ensure breaches of the act or offender risk are addressed, to ensure consistency of data and completion of all relevant documentation / reporting
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with the team and stakeholders from across the work unit, division, police and work units from across the state to gather information and intelligence to ensure best practice, whilst meeting relevant legislative and policy requirements
**About You**:
- A proven ability to work within a collaborative team environment including experience in supervising staff and activities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proven ability to successfully allocate workloads, maintaining awareness of changing and static priorities
- Experience in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive material and information
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical skills with experience in identifying and effectively communicating themes and issues
**Further Information**
- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
