**Your Role**:
As the Assistant Centre Manager and Preschool Room Leader, you’ll work closely with all staff to support the daily operations of the centre. You’ll lead a team of passionate educators, ensuring the children receive the best care and learning experiences while contributing to the centre’s success and growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring smooth operations and the well-being of children and staff.
- Lead the Preschool Room, ensuring a stimulating learning environment that prepares children for school and beyond.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, mentoring educators, and promoting professional growth.
- Maintain high standards of care and education by ensuring adherence to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Assist in the planning and implementation of a centre program based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Build strong relationships with families and the community, promoting open communication and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Effectively managing the floor ratios/ breaks

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- A Cert III or Diploma or in early childhood education is essential.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and NQS (essential)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Organisational and leadership skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 25 - 32 per week

Work Location: In person
