**Your new company**
Be part of a specialist steel fabrication business that is locally owned and operated. Taking on a hands on role to work with the team and owner to deliver quality service to ACT and surrounding clients. The current operations manager has been with the business for over 2 years and is taking on a new challenge. This means the business is seeking an amazing Operations Manager with a manufacturing, engineering or drafting background who can hit the ground running

**Your new role**
As the Operations Manager you will be;
- Overseeing approximately 9 staff across the business.
- Working closely with the owner and other Project Manager to ensure the business runs smoothly and grows where possible.
- Managing projects, liaising with clients and inputting jobs into Autocad to supply quotes and supply to the factory for fabrication.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To hit the ground running in this role you will need;
- Staff and project management experience
- A strong background in manufacturing, drafting or engineering
- Ideally a good understanding of Autocad or similar programs
- The desire to grow with the business and be part of the team
- A drivers license and fantastic communication skills

**What you'll get in return**
The Operations Manager package is inclusive of;
- An attractive base salary, sitting around $90K as a starting point but is negotiable upward pending skills and experience.

- This client is also a firm believer in upskilling their staff so there may be other entitlements that come form working with this business
