**SERVICE TECHNICIAN - NSW**

Digga is Australia's leading manufacturer of Machinery attachments for the Earthmoving & Construction industry. A multi-award winning, global company, with 5 state of the art facilities worldwide, our product & passion for providing total customer solutions is second to none.

The opportunity now exists for a professional and driven Service Technician to join our team. Reporting to the NSW Operations Manager, you will be a mechanically minded person who has the ability to assemble and disassemble a wide range of Digga/Kanga products and not be afraid to get your hands dirty. You will be a highly energetic person that takes pride in their work and their working environment to maintain our company standards.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Carrying out service and repairs
- Diagnosing and fault finding
- Devise test procedures and supervise test activities
- Completion of all paperwork relating to the completion of jobs, including timesheets, service reports and other required information.
- Providing quality customer service at all times
- Physically and mentally fit for daily challenges and continual deadlines
- You must be able to think on your feet and display a high level of integrity, honesty, reliability and confidentiality at all times

**To be successful you will have**:

- Relevant Australian trade qualification or equivalent experience
- Must possess a current forklift ticket and a drivers licence
- Have mechanical aptitude
- Background in hydraulics and small engines
- Presentable and professional appearance
- Excellent time management skills
- Basic Computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Product knowledge in earthmoving attachments and/or mini loaders will be an advantage, as is an understanding of hydraulics and electrical circuits. You will receive on the job training must be able to follow instructions, learn quickly and work autonomously in order to meet customer’s demands.
