**THE ROLE**

Join **Skilltech**, Downer’s specialised metering business, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy data in Australia. **Based in our Rydalmere office**, you will step into the role of **Operations Manager - Advanced Metering**, leading the charge in delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused metering solutions. You will manage both field and back-office teams across key contracts, inspiring a culture of excellence.

As a key player in one of the country’s most experienced metering service providers, you will support over 4 million service visits each year. This is your opportunity to drive innovation, prioritize safety, and elevate our commitment to excellence.

- Inspire and guide teams to meet critical KPIs across safety, quality, and service delivery.

- Partner across functions and contracts to achieve business outcomes and margin growth.
- Build lasting relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

**ABOUT YOU**

You’re a service delivery leader with a track record of operational success in complex, high-volume environments. Whether you come from utilities, infrastructure, or a related sector, you’re known for your people-first approach, commercial acumen, and ability to lift team performance.

You’ll likely bring:

- Demonstrated leadership of field and support teams in dynamic service environments.
- Confidence navigating client expectations, contract performance, and delivery metrics.
- Strategic thinking with hands-on ability to troubleshoot and optimise operations.
- A collaborative, safety-focused mindset that energises those around you.
- Knowledge of metering, electrical infrastructure, or utility operations is a plus.
