**The Opportunity**

Silk has an exciting opportunity for a Inventory Specialist to join our Dandenong South operation. This is Fixed Term Contract (12months) with potential to be extended or moved to full time contract.

Shift hours: Mon - Fri 6am to 2:30pm

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Inventory Controller will be responsible for:

- Ensuring stock integrity across all allocated product lines for the customer
- Reviewing, developing and implementing quality control techniques and procedures to ensure inventory accuracy and inventory management
- Ensuring and maintaining a high standard of accuracy when completing annual stocktakes and cycle counts
- Liaising with supervisors and managers, suppliers as required with respect to warehouse operations in relation to inventory layouts, pick runs and handling activities
- Assisting in the provision of on-the-job training and standards
- Evaluating operational procedures whilst actively looking for enhancements through I.T and other sources

**Who are you?**
- Previous stock integrity experience in a high volume SKU warehouse
- Computer literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in driving process changes to improve quality and integrity
- Experience in maintaining a warehouse management system (high proficiency ion Red Prairie/BlueYonder essential)
- Previous experience developing and maintaining quality systems and operating procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
