**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team at Rapid Car parts, a leader in automotive parts and accessories. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and tracking the inventory of car parts, ensuring that stock levels are maintained, and all parts are properly stored and accounted for. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive parts and components, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Accurately track and maintain inventory levels of car parts and accessories in the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of automotive parts for quality and quantity.
- Label and store parts in their designated locations according to inventory management system guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels and proactively initiate reordering to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- **Data Entry & Record Keeping**:

- Record and update inventory data in the inventory management system Pinncale Professional.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports, including stock counts, part shortages, and returns.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, both scheduled and unscheduled (cycle counts), to ensure accuracy.
- **Parts Organization & Stock Rotation**:

- Organize parts in the warehouse to optimize space, minimize damage, and ensure easy access.
- Implement proper stock rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out) to ensure that older parts are used or sold first.
- **Quality Control & Compliance**:

- Inspect and verify the condition of parts during receiving, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Assist with returns and warranty claims for defective or incorrect parts.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the procurement team to identify low-stock parts and assist with ordering.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure the timely availability of parts for orders and customer requests.
- **Shipping & Receiving**:

- Assist with packing and shipping outgoing orders to customers or retail partners.
- Ensure that parts are picked, packed, and shipped in a timely and accurate manner.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in inventory management or supply chain is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry or with automotive parts.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
- **Skills**:

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and data entry.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and their classifications (e.g., engine components, suspension parts, electrical parts).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift heavy parts and handle physical tasks related to warehouse operations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $54,034.08 - $86,000.47 per year

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
