Our client based in Perth’s CBD is currently seeking a Media and Government Relations Professional.

**Your new company**

Our state government client based in Perth’s CBD is currently seeking an experienced media and government relations professional to fill their short-term temporary vacancy. This is a temporary contract for 7 weeks. This role is a great opportunity to work with a well-known government authority.

**Your new role**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating media materials such as social media, responding to media enquiries, and drafting media statements.
- Organising media interviews
- Participating in government relations and issues management

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

- Demonstrated experience in media relations
- Experience in both internal and external communications
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills
