**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking for a proactive Risk Partner to join our Governance and Risk Team on an 18 month, fixed term contract.

**The Role**

The key duties and responsibilities are;
- Collaborating with Project Managers and Functional Leads to identify and manage risks, ensuring effective risk management processes.
- Leading risk workshops and reviewing risk registers with a focus on controls and treatment plans.
- Supporting meetings with stakeholders to enhance risk governance frameworks and ensure effective control implementation.
- Updating risk assessments and addressing areas with inadequate controls.
- Monitoring risk management practices and recommending improvements.
- Advising stakeholders on risk-related issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Supporting the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program to increase organisational resilience.
- Assisting the Emergency Management Team (EMT) and Crisis Management Team (CMT) in response and recovery efforts.
- Supporting disruption-related risks and resilience programs.
- Assisting in incident and emergency management programs and initiatives.
- Support Governance and Risk Programs, including Anti Bribery and Corruption and Modern Slavery

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have;
- **Risk Management Experience**: At least 3 years of experience in risk management, particularly in implementing and operating Risk Management Frameworks within the infrastructure or resource sectors and an understanding of the project delivery and HSE risks applicable to infrastructure projects.
- **Building Trust & Communication**: Demonstrated ability to operate in a way that builds trust across all staff levels, fostering open and honest communication.
- **Interpersonal & Communication Skills**: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- **Excellent report writing skills**:

- **Educational Qualifications**: A tertiary qualification in business, accounting, commerce, or a related discipline.
- **Business Continuity Management**: A qualification in business continuity management (BCM) or equivalent practical experience.
