The Opportunity
Join us in this exciting opportunity as an Executive Assistant supporting the Chief Customer Officer of Vocus based in our Perth office This is a part-time, 12-month maximum term contract for 3 days a week. We are flexible with how this schedule is structured; however, we will require you to be in the office a minimum of 2 days a week.
The support you'll provide will range from the forward planning and coordination of day-to-day activities for our executive as well as direct reports/senior leadership team members across the divisions to ensure the smooth running of the Customer Delivery Fibre Support group. Where required this role may be requested to provide support on additional projects.
What you’ll be doing day-to-day
- Provide full administration support to your Executive.
- Co-ordinate diary management, inbox management, expenses and travel arrangements.
- Engage with the Senior Leadership/Direct Reports teams to gain a sufficient understanding of team scope, priorities and culture
- Be intuitive & proactive when prioritising and responding to messages.
- Show initiative by helping the Executive/s manage and prioritise their workload.
- Provide support on correspondence, communications, building presentations and board packs as required.
- Assisting with planning and set-up (logistics, catering etc) team meetings and events.
- Assisting with or coordinating the organisation of business functions as required
- Provide Support to the Senior Leadership Team where required.
- Communicating with the EA community, Execs, Board members, Suppliers and Clients on behalf of the Executive.
- Live and breathe our Vocus “one team” value and build great working relationships across the business.

What You’ll bring to this role.
- A minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant with a proactive and learning mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Highly service-oriented, proactive, with strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional organization, time management, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and liaise at an executive level under pressure. Relevant administration qualifications are a plus.
