**The role**:
We’re on the hunt for Maintenance Operatives to work across Melbourne Metro areas Work flexible hours and close to home in this role that services the local council areas of:
Vacancy 1) City of Sunshine

Vacancy 2) City of Darebin

Vacancy 3) City of Moorabbin

This role will see you working within a team to provide maintenance services on oOh’s Street Furniture assets (bus shelters) and also carry out installation of advertising posters on these assets. Our warehouse is in Port Melbourne which you’ll visit roughly once a week for parts and products, to collaborate with your team mates, and once a month for our onsite team BBQs

This role offers a variety of work where no two days will be the same You will have a clear view of your upcoming schedule and given the autonomy to plan your hours around the best route. The role is Monday to Friday and the team generally work 8am-4pm plus oncall once every couple of months on a rotating roster after hours (4-8pm) and on weekends. Your duties will cover:

- Maintenance of bus shelters within your designated area (glass clean up, fixing of seating or totem poles or bus shelter structure, insecticide/weed killing, general cleanliness)
- Graffiti removal and minor repairs
- Fortnightly posting of advertising campaigns as well as mid and special posts throughout that fortnight (including posting and maintenance of sites at shopping centres)
- Securing potentially hazardous sites
- Monitoring and reporting of damages and faults
- 100% adherence to strict policies, procedures and code of conduct
- Maintaining cleanliness of company vehicle

**The experience**:
2 weeks full training and induction will be provided where you will learn the ropes buddying with our Senior team members however, previous experience in handyman duties or asset maintenance preferred but not essential (ability to use basic power tools). Flexibility to work on-call and after hours work as well as a full, clean MANUAL Australian Drivers Licence is a must.

In addition, you will thrive in a team environment and be able to work autonomously, using your initiative while working with mínimal supervision. Good communication, tech savvy nature and compliance with WHS policies are also key to this role. You must also pass a pre-employment Drug & alcohol check, licence check and reference checks.
