Based in Sydney’s northern suburbs, our client is a global manufacturer of high quality personal care, body care and skincare products. With recent expansion of the company globally, they are expanding their capabilities into new markets and launching new products for clients, with a well-defined marketing and sales strategy.

**About the role**:
Currently Evolve Scientific is seeking an
**Operations Plant Manager** to manage and lead the Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Production, Quality and HR departments. Work collaboratively with the commercial and NPD functions, led by the COO, who is based on-site.

This role is a permanent opportunity.

**Responsible for**:

- Production output - meeting revenue demands, plant reliability and quality levels.
- Meeting customer requirements by managing plant operations according to established company policy and compliance.
- Developing long and short-term improvement plans for company output, efficiency, reliability and safety.
- Accurate inventory management and control.
- Driving and maintaining a high morale employee engagement, safety and teamwork approach.
- Managing facility ISO certification.
- Plant budget
- Your duties will include:_
- Liaising and collaborating with key stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, logistics partners) on delivery of business needs.
- Interaction with admin support for review of daily production, quality and HR activities including - billing, inventory reports, on-time delivery.
- Manage, lead, mentor the team to achieve set KPIs.
- Holding department heads accountable for performance.

**Requirements for the role**:

- Tertiary level qualifications
- Proficient using ERP, MRP eg SAP - supply chain, procurement, planning, warehousing
- Significant recent and relevant experience in a similar role in manufacturing, preferably personal care or skincare.
- Proven track record of leadership up and down the organisation and people management of a team
- Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
- Ability to demonstrate influence, manage complex projects and lead across cross functional teams
