Adelaide Venue Management Corporation is the operator of three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful event venues - the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Coopers Stadium (CS). A fantastic opportunity has now become available for an experienced WHS & Training Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis.

This position requires a driven and engaging individual to work collaboratively in coordinating the delivery of the Corporation’s key training priorities, in particular, mandatory compliance-based training & licensing requirements. You will work closely with the WHS Strategic Advisor, implementing and supporting AVM’s WHS Strategic plan and wellbeing initiatives across all venues.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Ensure AVM meets its mandatory compliance-related training and licensing requirements, by coordinating the effective delivery of all mandatory training / refresher training identified within the plan (e.g. First Aid, Warden, High Risk Work, Code of Ethics, Liquor Licence General Code of Practice, etc.).
- In collaboration with other HR staff, administer the “AVM Academy” Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring it is operating to its optimum level and training matrices are in place.
- Create and review training content within the Learning Management System.
- Assist the WHS Strategic Advisor in driving the WHS Risk Management process across the Corporation.
- Coordinate and conduct regular work site inspections of all AVM operational venues and ensure the work site inspections are recorded appropriately using the WHS management system.
- You have experience in scheduling, coordinating and administering employee training.
- Success in rolling-out and maintaining compliance training requirements, via an established Learning Management System (LMS).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, unwavering attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to set goals and achieve them.
- A proactive ‘can do’ attitude with a flexible, innovative and solutions-focused approach to your work.
- An ability to communicate and interact positively at all levels, including dealing professionally with clients, contractors, and staff from a broad range of cultural backgrounds and educational levels.
- Experience with SAP Litmos LMS will be highly regarded.
- A keen interest in WHS and Injury Management.
