The Watkins Grape + Wine winery is located in Chandlers Hill (postcode 5159) and is the largest winery in the Adelaide Hills. Watkins Grape + Wine is fed by its 141-hectare Langhorne creek vineyard and 6-hectare Adelaide Hills vineyard, along with grower fruit and contract processing customers. This results in a large range of ferment sizes from at least 6 different South Australian regions made in several styles.

Job Requirements

You will be involved in a broad range of cellar activities, from fruit intake right through to pressing of reds and putting new vintage wines to oak. This is a great chance to make some great wines and have a lot of fun in a historic Adelaide Hills winery.
- Successful applicants will have the ability to share a laugh, be competent, reliable, and self-motivated team members, and display outstanding attention to detail.
- Demonstrate excellent work ethic, a concern for wine quality and safe working practice.
- Cellar experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Laboratory experience is preferred but not essential.
- A forklift licence is desirable and own transport essential.
- Flexibility with shifts during vintage.
- International applicants must have valid working visa for Australia.
- Remuneration is in accordance with experience and the Wine Industry Award 2021.
