Disability Support Worker

**SUPPORT WORKER needed for client at Daceyville**

Surmount Care is looking for a support worker on a casual basis to join our team.

**Required**:Vehicle, Personal Care,

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- facilitating community engagement and access
- gathering and inputting data for allied health professionals
- dedicated to assisting participants in reaching their NDIS objectives
- adhering to the case management plan
- complying with the behavioural support plan
- collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary teams
- providing transportation

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Driver’s license
- must have car
- Patience and emotional resilience
- Desire to improve the life of another
- Able to adapt and stay claim in challenging situations
- 100 points of ID

**PREFERRED**
- Tertiary students in psychology, occupational therapy, behaviour science, social worker, community services, counselling, mental health or related fields

**DESIRABLES**
- Certificate III in social and community work or equivalent
- Experience working with vulnerable people
- First Aid + CPR certificate
- Working with Children’s Check
- Working with Vulnerable People
- National Police Check
- Drivers licence

Pay: $33.00 - $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 4 per week
