Grounds Keeper

Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver; design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services across the Southern Region of Sydney.

D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream and WSP.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced **Grounds Maintenance** worker to join our Facilities Management Team based out of our** Daceyville and Potts Hill** maintaining all our **Sydney Water sites**.

**Primary Purpose**:Upkeep of the grounds on over 600 Sydney Water sites including Pumping stations, Water Recycling plants, Main Offices, Depots, childcare centre.

**Activities may include a combination of the following**:

- Grass cutting
- Mowing
- Slashing of open grassed areas
- Weed control
- Garden maintenance
- Hardstand maintenance and courtyards
- Site maintenance including fence line clearing and general handyperson-type duties as required
- Graffiti removal
- Removal of green waste

**To be successful in this position, you must have**:

- White Card
- Truck Licence - essential
- Chemical Spraying Accreditation (AQF3)
- Recent experience in a similar role

**Desirable experience to support site maintenance needs**:

- Fence repairs & maintenance
- Graffiti removal and site cleaning
- External faade & building fabric repairs
- Painting and general handyman/make-safe tasks
- Site condition inspections
