We are a leading Automotive Centre looking for a knowledgeable and customer-oriented individual to assist our valued clients in finding the right parts for their vehicles.**
As an Automotive Parts Interpreter, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in identifying and sourcing the correct automotive parts for their vehicles. You will be the key point of contact for customers seeking expert advice on parts compatibility, availability, and pricing.
**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Support**: Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone. Understand their requirements and recommend the appropriate automotive parts to meet their needs.
**Part Identification**: Utilize your comprehensive knowledge of automotive parts to accurately identify components and their compatibility with various vehicle makes and models.
**Inventory Management**: Maintain and update the parts inventory database, ensuring accurate stock levels and availability information. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
**Order Processing**: Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accurate pricing, part numbers, and delivery details. Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts to customers.
**Technical Expertise**: Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and industry trends to provide customers with the most relevant and accurate information.
**Cross-Selling and Upselling**: Suggest related products and accessories to enhance the customer's experience and increase sales.
**Problem Resolution**: Handle customer concerns, returns, and warranty claims in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Parts Interpreter or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive parts, components, and their functionalities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and automotive parts catalog software.
- A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Automotive certification or relevant technical training is an advantage.
- Previous experience working in an automotive dealership or spare parts store.
- Experience in Dealer Pro
