**The Opportunity**:
As an Engagement Coordinator you will support the Urbis Engagement team to deliver creative, effective and robust stakeholder and community engagement strategies to support major urban development, urban renewal and infrastructure projects.
**You will**:
Be working across event logistics, campaign support, document production, team and executive support.
- Use your event management skills to lead the logistics and support the team to deliver stakeholder engagement events, including focus groups, workshops, design labs, and pop-up stalls, that encourage people to get involved in planning their city.
- Use your document production skills to support the preparation of persuasive and engaging submissions, reports and presentations that further the Urbis Engagement brand and drive people's interest in shaping the future of their cities.
- Provide team support for our Engagement Team (six staff) and Director, Engagement.
- Prepare invoices, reconcile accounts, and manage the payment of accounts to suppliers.
**About You**:
Ideally, you will have a strong interest in people and cities, the capacity to learn quickly, and great interpersonal and time-management skills.
- A qualification or relevant experience in administration, event management or a related discipline.
- Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite. And, ideally, strong skills in InDesign, Photoshop or related graphic design packages.
- Proven ability in event management and logistics.
- Proven ability to support small teams, including executive support.
- Attentive, attention to detail and lateral thinking is a must in this key position for the team.
