WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND MANAGE
- Reporting to a Senior Marketing Manager, this Marketing Manager role will work in collaboration with the commercial management team, to lead product marketing, therapy development and market development activities to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- The position will work proactively and directly with the sales team to identify account specific marketing needs and be an expert and trusted resource to achieve objectives.
- This role will develop and implement marketing strategies and plans to grow market share and develop new opportunities for this product category in Australia and New Zealand.
- The position will partner and drive sales execution strategies through go-to-market channels including with the account management team, clinical team, distribution partners & field service support.
- You will develop and manage partnerships/alliances with key customers and business partners to assess and analyse opportunities, propose recommendations and implement strategies that will grow the ANZ business.
- You will lead innovation and educational activities from ideation phase to launch and determine segment objectives, strategies, and marketing campaigns in line with the customer journey.
- You will leverage your skills, therapy understanding and belief in market development concepts and opportunities through the sales force, using effective coaching techniques.
- You will plan, execute and measure launches for new products and line extensions, utilising a plan that incorporates positioning, product, pricing and promotion.
- You will undertake regular customer and market research activities to understand customer needs/insights, competitive offerings and changes in market and business priorities and identify and evaluate new business opportunities to extend and develop the customer and profit base.
- You will form relationships and conduct in-field visits with current and future key opinion leaders to enhance understanding of customer requirements and market potential and serve as a technical adviser, demonstrating products and troubleshooting product issues.
- You will ensure product registration efficiency is maximised and maintain compliance in-line with TGA, MTAA and advertising requirements for medical devices.
WHAT EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED TO GET THE JOB
- At least 5 years marketing/product management experience within the medical device/medical technology sector with Marketing/Business related degree.
- Previous product/therapy launch experience.
- Previous sales or sales management experience in medical device industry an advantage.
- Confident and professional presentation skills with excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- “Hands on” attitude with an elevated level of initiative and drive, (no direct reports in this role).
- Demonstrated analytical skills including an understanding of business economics and financial planning.
- Demonstrate omni-channel marketing experience using different digital platforms to drive reach and messages.
- Advanced Microsoft skills essential.
- Ideally experience working with Power BI, SAP, Salesforce CRM, an advantage.
