We are recruiting for Head Barista at the National Portrait Gallery Canberra. This would suit the art lovers who are passionate and experienced in hospitality management.

**The Role**
- Provide ongoing training to the team
- Lead a team of 3 baristas
- Make coffee and tea to a high quality and appearance
- Take orders and enter in POS
- Ensure standards of excellence are achieved regarding customer service, staff presentation and grooming
- Beverage stocktake and ordering
- Lead by example and mentor, train and guide new colleagues
- Help and support the team on the floor and in the bar when required
- Permanent position
**About you**
- 1+ year Barista Experience
- High level of coffee machine knowledge and the proven ability to train and mentor other baristas
- Exceptional knowledge and passion in making all types of expresso coffee
- Latte Art
- Experienced and motivated about working in a fast-paced busy environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Must hold valid RSA
- Valid working rights in Australia
